Default Fly-fishing SE BC Lakes... Any advice?

Heading to SE BC for vacation and hoping to get some serious time in fishing. Any tips on fly-fishing the SE BC Lakes (Kootenay, Arrow, etc.), or locations I should check out? So far the plan is to mostly focus on stream inlets.

Thanks!

Both Kootenay and Arrow Lakes are huge boddies of water. Spring and fall are best for catching the rainbows. But not to say that they won't bite in the summer. But they are usually down deep throughout the hotter months.
Best as you said to concentrate in the creek mouths. Fish earlier in the morning or later in the evening.
Bring some snorkle gear. The lakes are cold. But it is cool to snorkle by the creek mouths to see the kokanee gathered at each creek. I used to do this all the time when I was a kid. Like I said it's cold. But on a hot day it's a fun thing to do.
Try small black or red micro leeches. You can put one under and indicator and cast it at the beginning of where the creek comes into the lake. Let the fly drift out 30 or 40 feet and repeat.
