Default Gun safe advice

Hey guys I'd just like a little advice on purchasing a gun safe. Yesterday I went to cabelas ready to purchase a liberty pro vault 18, but they only had one on the floor that they couldn't even open. Thanks

I love my liberty, and the first thing I'm sure most people will tell you is buy way bigger than what you think you need. I have one of liberty's largest models and comfortably I would say it holds half the guns they rate them for.

Watch this video and do some research. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltK-bDbADa8

Find out what you need and what you want then go from there. Also do not forget to bolt it to the floor/wall so in case you do have a break in they cant move it around to make breaking in easier.

check out browning prosteel.

for the cost/features, they can't be beat.

I bought a Platinum Plus PP49 this year with all the options and spent 2380.00 less than the equivalent safe in a Liberty.

And a much better value imho.

I bought this at Canadian Tire for $800 on sale. Seems to do the trick. http://reviews.canadiantire.ca/9045/...ws/reviews.htm

You won't go wrong with a Liberty safe be it from Cabelas or Liberty. I am sure the others are good too but Liberty will not be a mistake.

And like the first post, get bigger than you think. You won't believe what you start putting in it.

Hey V-diddy, what month did you get that safe at that price. Great deal. I'm thinking that I should wait for that to go on sale again. Thanks
