Found a used rifle in 17 rem , any info would be much appreciated

Great on coyotes! Very little pelt damage, flat shooters, very accurate Mine fouls the barrel a bit more than my other rifles and doesn't buck the wind like the 22 centre fires. But she's my go to coyote gun.

The 17s don't do well in the wind, and the 17rem is not very efficient compared to the 17 Fireball. If I wanted a 17, I would go with a 17 Fireball.
