Default Ice fishing Little Bow Campground

Hey guys. Just wondering if you can access the lake at the Little Bow campground ? Thinking about parking at the launch there and walking on if this weather lets up. Never fished the hard water there and didnt want to walk too far. Thanks.

yes there is tons of parking space but most pull down to the shoreline and park there. just don't drive onto the ice as i have heard of some going through even when the ice is thick. the only thing is if you pull down to the shoreline there is usually a well used path in front of the pillars try not to use that one if its icy and use the boat launch ramp. one year i almost slide into the pillars all the way down in my 1 ton truck nerve racking. the ice around the pillars are not always even so becarefull.

Wow scary. By pillars you mean the ones that the dock is supported with in the summer right?

yes, i see water around the pillars sometimes and there may be possible under water currents not sure how much though.most fish between the pillars and the shoreline but when you get there i am sure you will see where everyone else is fishing. usually a small town lol

Awesome. Thanks so much. I only ever fished that dock in the summer and love watching my kids pull up eye after a eye. But we have never seen a whitefish, perch or burb near the docks. Im hoping to get a little further out away from the pillars though.

6"-7" ice at campground, many people fishing there, and lots of whites on the ice.
