It really wasn't controversial. I just pointed out that fish do not care about how ugly stuff might be tied. Especially my ugly flies
The above flies are better than the silvers I last tied so they get my thumbs up.

I do have the straight jaws as well.I switch it up depending on what I'm tying .

Yep, agreed. I like the silvers you have tied with either a red butt or behind the head. Both should perform very well on certain types of fish. If you don't want to wait until spring, fish those silver with red behind the head at Sylvan, naked, and in 3-4 FOW. Now I got me thinking...
