Default Where are all the burbot at buffalo?

I have been fishing buffalo for many/many years. 10 years ago there was a time when you would catch 5 to 1. Burbot over jacks. I understand those years are gone for now, but this year I havn't even seen a Burbot on buffalo. I dont recall seeing piles of dead burbot on the ice like I used to see on Sylvan years ago, so I know thats not an option, So where are they all???? Anyone have any logical reasons for this shortage?

They are there, obviously just not where you are . There's been a few days in the last couple weeks where we've iced our fare share. Too bad a guy can't keep them.

Maybe they got overfished? That might explain why you can't keep them after January 31 anymore.
