Default Bonus days for trout fising and others?

Wow, unbelievable weather over the next while.

Was on a trout pothole yesterday and hooked a baker's dozen, netted 10 including an 18"er and a 22"er on balanced leech patterns: my typical olive, maroon but also an interesting chartreuse marabou with hot orange bead head.

Out for trout again today and then to Wabamun on Saturday for pike, walleye and hopefully whitefish.

For Wabamun don't forget that maximum hook gap is 10 mm from point to shank. I didn't have many flies left in the box after using that criteria!

ohh I was sooo tempted not to show up for work today. Get one more good weekday fly fishing somewhere.

May hit the local areas this weekend at the very least. Good to hear others are still catching.

5 yesterday in 3 hours at my fav. still water spot.
Im on my way today to another spot see if any fish left in there in a few minutes.
Get out there folks it aint gonna last long.

Cant stay away from fly fishing even with severe shoulder troubles if i flyfish. So thats not bad catching as i am teaching myself to use my left arm.

So jealous. Between work, school, and homework... I can only daydream about how nice it would be to fish during these beautiful November days!

Found some more rainbow hogs on Friday with the balanced leeches and then some action on Wabamun today for small pike and fat walleye on red/white streamers.

Don't know when I'm going to catch up with garden cleanup chores, maybe next April?

There are questions as to whether or not you caught the biggest pike/walleye. Just sayin'.

I cannot, in good conscience, dispute that fact.
