Yup, no matter WHAT they are shot with!

My first o/u was a Bl-4, it was so tight I had to break it open over my knee, it took about 2000 rounds to break it in! I loved that gun and I shot many sporting clay's rounds with it before moving on to a more dedicated target gun. As much as I loved it though, I wouldn't trade it for what I have now.

Default Bl4

We were talking 20 gauges several years ago and my current hunting partner said he had had a 12 gauge BL4 quality Beretta gun many years ago but had always wanted a 20 gauge. Several months later I found one in Edmonton and bought it for myself. Dale used it several times and said it fit him better than any of his shotguns and birds immediately fell out of the sky when he used it. I wasn't particularly attached to it so gave it to him for what I had paid for it. His daughter liked it so much she tried to make off with it but he reclaimed it when she moved away
Like elk11 I favor a 28 gauge weighing 5.5 pounds but this weekend I will clear the cobwebs out of the SP 20 gauge.

Cat the only disadvantage to those smoke poles is you cant go after the bird until after the smoke clears often giving them a head start to the cat tails

I had a Bl-3 20 gauge some years ago that weighed 5 lbs 1 oz and kicked so hard I couldn't finish a round of skeet with it!

They had a very thin butt stock which did not help matters either!
I liked mine however but it got traded to another AO member for Louie the GSP!

I have no issues shooting skeet with my AYA number 2 in 20 gauge, even with the solid wood butt plate, but it weighs 6lbs.

Since the Bl-3 I've got a 20 gauge 686 Onyx and it's a lovely gun to shoot!
