Default Guide recommendation--mexico

Will be travelling to Mexico in December. Destination is grand Bahia Príncipe Coba. Part of the Maya Riviera. The town of Tulum is near. Just wondering if anyone on this board has used a guide in that area. Good or bad would help. I see there is a Capt Ricks and Dive Shop with good recommendations. can anyone help me out. Bottom fishing. Thanks. BEL

it is the style of boat, google pangas and you will see. On the day our charter was originally scheduled it was bad weather ,so they bumped us to another day. The boat we had originally booked was being used so they upgraded us to a bigger boat for the same price. Big thumbs up for captain ricks.

I second Captain Ricks. Decent price with a decent fleet.

Got me on 3 Sailfish, a couple Black Fin Tuna, a Wahoo, a few Bonita - all in a 6 hour trip.

They are located out of Playa del Carmen - so not too far from Tulum. They can also arrange for a shuttle for cheap to pick you up and return trip.
