Being from Nova Scotia he should be more concerned with how the police bungled the handling of the shooting spree not so long ago.

No…that’s why you can’t look at any add without hearing “plant based” - you don’t need to procure your own food, the government will give you what they have determined you need.

I think unelected pseudo legal commissions are the thing that needs banning.

As Canada urbanises and ever fewer people have any meaningful contact with the environment outside of cities this call will continue to get stronger.
Unfortunately firearms owners in Canada are at least as busy trying to undermine each other as trying to present a meaningful position to the non-shooting, non-hunting public.
I live for the day when I see a picture of Susan Natrass (with all seven gold medals), Megan Bankes and Amanda Chuboda all holding the tool of their respective discipline, show up on a bill board with the title "Firearms are a Women's Issue"

Exactly, if we banned liberals, our country would be a much better place to live. As for semi auto firearms, semi auto shotguns are the most common choice for waterfowl these days, so any ban would have a huge effect on hunters.

Don't think there is any doubt, the turd is determined to remove "all" firearms from the civilian population. Unfortunately, with the complete support of many canukistan sheeple.

Brings to mind an old saying..... be careful what you wish for!

Ban semi autos and take out likely 75% of registered handgun owners and everyone that owns a 10/22. That'd be real interesting.

The State prefers to have a monopoly on violence. They will tolerate criminal violence to a degree, in as much as they will use it as a pretext to disarm the citizenry.

Chip chip chip chip chip chip......

And it would not reduce the number of shooting incidents. It would actually increase firearms related crimes, as more people would be in illegal possession of firearms.

One would be incredibly naive to assume that criminals simply go to a gunstore to purchase a firearm to commit a gun related crime.
Which goes to show just what the average anti-gun personality is: Incredibly naive.
Incredible naivety is what the Trudeau liberals rely on for party support. Without that, they have nothing.
Propaganda and ignorance keep the lowly masses at bay. Remind you of any Eastern European/Asian country?

Right, so now it's "science based". You can't argue with science.

I'm sure a bunch of people have suggested this before...

Why don't we ban shooting people?
We could give it a name like uh, I dunno, uh, murder? or assault with a deadly weapon?
We could put people in jail if they did it!
Then people would stop doing it!
That should work!

I will say this, Politicians and their ideologies are responsible for more deaths than all the mass shootings in the world throughout history combined.

As a matter of fact I would say they are likely responsible for quite a few mass shootings as well.

What we really need on this planet is another big island penal colony we can start exiling irresponsible politicians to.

I would suggest the Antarctic.

Years ago I suggested exactly this - no need to go to the Antarctic - it could be a growth industry for Canada.
Perfect locale - Akpatok Island.
No need for fences or guards, very high concentration of polar bears.

No this is YOUR Canada! You can do nothing or you can do something to change things. Giving up is not really an option! Though I know many have and THAT is what "they" are counting on.
