Default Mega Live for Lake Trout.

I thought I would share some pics and video from my Mega Live setup. I am out on Cold Lake this week getting it dialed in and it’s pretty great.

Setup pics. I use the ArcLabs pole and track mounted plate.

First fish with Mega Live. 90 FOW and watched it chase all the way up.

My daughter with a nice one from 80 FOW.

I got to sit back and let the ladies run the show today.

Lure is looking dialed in to what they are coughing up.

Here’s a link to a vid of the Mega Live in action. The Helix and the Mega Live both have the most recent updates. Sensitivity on 20. Contrast on 12.

Cool. Get it all figured out because I planned on PMing you shortly to ask what head unit I should buy to use it ice fishing and on the boat as you have. I am Humminbird-illiterate.

PS - Give your girls a big hug for spending so much time on the water with you. You’re a lucky man.

PM away. The nice thing with the Mega Live for ice fishing is that you don’t need the separate powered processing box like two other brands. All the image processing is in the head unit. That will make the shuttle much lighter and easier to move around.

It’s actually the Mega360 I want to run. I already have LiveScope and ActiveTarget and will stick with Lowrance as my main network for its superior mapping options. I just want a one off HB running Mega360 on my boat. The opportunities with that technology are too good to pass up. I’ll maybe shoot you a Pm on the weekend.

Sweet, I got my active target up and running this year, it’s sweet on ice and water. My ten year old grandson has taken it over and now really out fishes me. 😂😂

I must confess that I did not know what you were referring to in the initial post but did some research... Looks pretty awesome!

I’ve had M360 for a little over a year now. It’s great to see fish moving around your location without having to manually spin the live sonar pole. Think slip bobbering. I also use it when bottom bouncing walleyes to see schools out front and steer the Ulterra over to them. I have my M360 on my Helix 8 at the moment, running a splitter cable for a transom mounted 2D transducer. The M360 can also be used to create SI images if you want. It just orients itself parallel to the boat and you get the same images as you would with a MSI transducer.
