A friend once told me that the most expensive gun Prophet River has sold was a Nitro Express 500 or 600 for 430k.

It might be close.

If you look at the original receipt for that gun, it's already dropped $100,000 in value - that's the cost of a new diesel pickup in depreciation in one year!

It beautiful, but that valuation on a shotgun is nuts...
