Default How to go silent on the web?

http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/de...unts-1.3872537

I could see it handy deleting old and unused accounts.

Closing an account won't necessarily remove the information you put out there. Thanks to things like the way back machine, archive.org, and Google cache you and your posts will live on for ever.

If you post it on the internet consider it there forever.

Yes, don't fear the Web if you choose to live a good life

Even if you start a all new IP and never date back "ever" to any previous links, it only takes one contact out side of your circle to connect the dots once again.

The Web links everything together according to my tech-nut friend.

People get sold on Web site ideas to remain alias, part of the puzzle is these Web sites actually lock you into the system better,,, just googling them alone puts more radar arrows in that direction of a IP address.

There are no secrets on the WWW.

Well Big Brother is not going to be impressed with me, I've been talking dirt about him for so long, it's just a matter of time before he visits.. Never did like my brother much... Lol

funny thing is I have been looking for some info about something and a thread I posted years ago on the AO site will pop up on the subject. Someone once told me to go have a coffee before I push the magic button.
