Tomorrow the snow comes. Be safe out there.

I can see where going to work in about 1/2hr is going to be interesting. Not much snow yet, but, there has been an accident of some form on Deerfoot/Glenmore area on Thurs, Fri and yesterday. And the snow that is coming down looks like the slippery type.

Roads on #1 were a tad dodgy from Calgary to Canmore this aft. Really bad around Lac Des Arc - accidents in the east bound lane and a Suburban who whipped past us at the Casino was trying to drive out of the ditch (unsuccessfully...)

Coming down hard in Calgary now. Roads are absolutely horrendous. Calgary waits and waits and then reacts when buses are stuck on small hills and cars crash.

Be safe.

Got the Stihl backpack blower out and cleaned up my mile of sidewalks and driveway after work. Just got back in from round 2 and there was more snow from around 6:30 till now than all afternoon and it is pounding down. Looking like a bad one for the morning. Anyone with a major commute could be ugly tomorrow morning.

Whoooohooooo!!!!!!

School shut down!!!! Snow day for me!!!!!!

Which means.......... I’ll 4x4 in and get caught up on marking and stuff.
Which is still great news!!!!

I’m going back to sleep for 1 hour!

We got about 8 inches here.

#2 son hired on to do manual-shovel snow removal in Lethbridge a month ago. Was pretty stoked drawing a paycheck to be on call. Wonder how stoked he is this morning.

Getting ready to dig a path out to the smoker to retrieve the back bacon for the Boxing Day Eggs Benny Fest. Last of 3 whole loins I smoked yesterday for the occasion.

Then off to Okotoks for a afternoon physio appt.

Any realtime Okotoks road reports from the AO network?
