Default Darton 3800

Hi all,
I m considering a new Bow!
Just curious if any of you have any experience with this one?
If so please provide feedback!

Its been quite some time since ive had a new Bow,
How much are one of these going to cost all set up?

I know most of you do not shoot Darton, but im interested in prices of similar bows from Hoyt, Matthews, PSE etc as well.
That way i have an idea of what i should be spending!

Thanks
Dan

I tested both the Darton 3800 and Hoyt Carbon Element G3 at the same time before I decided to go with the Hoyt. My first bow was a hoyt, however I cant remember the model name, and I liked it quite a bit; but all my buddies started shooting Darton so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about when I went out to get my new bow. I will say as far as price, its about 300$ cheaper then Hoyt which is a nice chunk of change, but for me I was sold on Hoyt's ability to make their bows so quiet. Darton I will say had a bit smoother draw back, but thats about it. In my opinion thats the only aspect it beats Hoyt although the ATA on the Darton is supposed to be 345-350 fps compared to the element G3 330-335 fps, which I wouldnt look into too much. Hope this helps!

All set up for Darton roughly will put you back 1300$
Hoyt Carbon Element G3 1600$

I tried the Pse DNA and was never into the brand and liked the bow so much I couldn't leave it there. It's a great shooting bow and has all the things I don't look for, short ata, short brace height.. It shot so good and easy. And with the centre shot equal to both axles it made it a fast tune.
Great bow! So many great bows out there, good luck!

Been shooting a Darton 2800 for 3 years now and absolutely love it!!
Its a smooth, accurate, tunable bow!!
