Default Last day to purchase ABA banquet tickets

FRIDAY, MARCH 28 & SATURDAY, MARCH 29, 2008
Nisku Inn & Conference Centre; Nisku, Alberta

Just a reminder to get your tickets for the Alberta Bowhunters Association Banquet on Saturday, March 29th, 2008.

Tickets are $35.00 for adults and $25.00 for youth and may be purchased from Brent Watson in Grande Prairie, Jim Bo’s Archery in Calgary, the Alberta Hunter Education Instructors’ Association office in Edmonton or by calling me direct at 780-462-2444 or via email at ksemple@huntingfortomorrow.com

Also, if you are an ABA member and/or guest, plan to join us on Friday night for our hospitality evening.

Our taxidermy mount display will be impressive and we especially want to feature our YOUTH hunting accomplishments. Please encourage our young bow hunters to participate in the display and also to enter the awards program. There are great prizes available!

This year's theme is the "Year of the Youth" and an impressive display of taxidermy mounts taken by adults and youth, will be available for viewing. As well, approximately 50 individuals will be recognized through the prestigious Trophy Awards program. This banquet attracts approximately 250 people from across the Province. This year the event is being co-hosted by Hunting For Tomorrow.

This evening also serves as a major fund-raising event for these organizations and we would be grateful for any assistance that you may be able to offer us, in terms of donated prizes or cash sponsorship. Proceeds from this event are used to fund and support various youth initiatives, including bowhunter education programs and youth and first time hunter mentorship programs.

Sponsor recognition and appreciation will be provided through the Alberta Bowhunters Association newsletter and web site, (www. bowhunters.ca) the Hunting For Tomorrow newsletter and web-site (www.huntingfortomorrow.com) as well as signage at the Banquet and recognition in the banquet program.

We would be very appreciative of any items that your business could contribute to this event.

On behalf of the Alberta Bowhunters Association and Hunting For Tomorrow, we thank you for your consideration of this request.

The Newsletter Contest was won by the same guy twice! The Droptine Pack & Field Butcher kit donated by Porcupine Creek (PSE Distro) were both won by Stephane Titley.

Congrat's to Stephane!
