The one that surprized me was the running shot ..nailed in on first shot...But we had a deer target on a wire clothesline type running target...so I knew what it takes..
one other not so good lol
NOTE* when it says you missed shot...it means their kill shot/10 Ring
you know you want to try it!!!!...lol

I've not yet drawn a bow on a deer, and am hugely looking forward to Sept 1 (thanks for the countdown clock post!). However, aren't a lot of their "hit" points too high and too far back? From my understanding you should aim into the lower 1/3 of the deer in case it reacts to the shot, and along a line drawn directly up from the lower front leg (this is assuming a ground-level, broadside shot; other angles will obviously change this: for quartering away shots, you want to pick the spot that has the arrow exiting into or immediately forward of the offside front leg so that it penetrates both lungs). Please correct me if I'm wrong here!
There are also a lot of scenarios given in which I simply wouldn't take the shot - too bad there isn't a "pass" button.
(It took me two shots on the running deer - and far more on a couple of others.)

I picture the heart lung area regardless of shot...some may seem too far back etc but one has to take inconsideration the tree stand height and distance etc...
Our Alberta deer are also a lot bigger than the All-You-All deer so slight adjustment have to be made...

First...
If you think about where you want your exit hole to be, just like real life it makes sense. The running shot was a guess of course, but the buck laying down, seems to be a little closer to the shoulder than I thought!

I have no patience for this stuff. If I miss I get mad and smash the button a bunch of times. 33 the first time. Lol
83 the second time after a breather to relax. Some just do not make sense to me.

84 for me. Some of them look like they are only scoring the absolute best shot not what would be a kill shot. Oh well, some fun and was able to get the bedded buck. Wasted 4 shots on the running shot. Thanks, LOST.

87 first try. Running deer was tough. So was the laying buck.
Thought some of their bulls eyes were a bit far back.
Lotta shots I would pass on. All the same, it was fun.
Thx for posting.

I got 87 ... but 100% kill shots (8 score) except for that running thing. Would never take that.

Took a few days off and got an 89. I still keep shooting a bit too far forward.

Geeze, you guys did really well.
I am in the same boat as cow town guy. Got 38 the first try as I got irritated. Second time around I got 80.
I am sure I would of gotten better scores if I had a mouse for the laptop.
