243 AI, with an 8 twist - shooting 105gr for deer and 75's for coyote - check out my ad in the by&sell section

243 over the 25.05 due to BC / 55gr at 4000fps for yotes and the 100gr + for deer

I have never been impressed with various .25's ... but some swear by them

might look at a 260 rem 85-95 gr for yotes and 140 gr for deer+

6mm rem loaded with fmj for dogs and 90grn accubonds for deer

I think the 6mm rem is the best choice. A little more powder capacity than the 243 and it also has a longer neck to play with different length bullets

I agree the 243 would do the job meet in the middle with a barnes 80. that is what i shoot in mine and taken yotes at 450 and white tail at 400 but shot on jumper was precise.
