Default Missing Malaysian Jet LIner

Since this plane went missing in May, I would be interested to see the current price tag attached to the search.

When it comes to airplane accidents or disappearances, search cost is not relevant. One of the reasons air travel is so safe is because each accident or incident is investigated thoroughly and the cause determined as definitely as possible. The most disturbing thing about this incident is the fact that it just vanished. Sure we'll see some improvements in that field.

This part of the Indian Ocean was supposedly not very well charted.
The sea bottom data could be re-sold to oil & gas companies, so the search might generate some income.
