Finally got my new #1 from the US. Here's a few pics. Decent wood. The pics with two show it on top with my .458 Lott under it:

BTW, with the $ at par or better, i bought that #1 cheaper, even with shipping and paperwork expenses, than I could buy at WSS. Still waiting on my 9.3X74R from Russells. I guess I should have bought in the US for that one too!

how much paper work did you have to go through to get the gun across the border?

My father is a snowbird. I have been thinking of asking him to pick me up a scope and a GPS unit. I never thought of a gun...
