In 2013 we got 162.00 US for our best marten, this year $51.00 US. Only coyotes prices held, thankfully, at $1.25 a liter for gas and diesel was almost $1.40 in Valleyview...…………………….

Yeah RFMA at this point in time make absolutely no sense financially. I never set for anything on mine because of it. My junior went after fisher and marten and caught a few in some target areas. Refuse to harvest lynx for the price we are getting. Why can’t Alberta be like NWT where fur harvest is backed by government...like farming here

I had a beaver sell Private Treaty but which one?

I'm not crazy about how hard it is to track my fur with the new website. Hopefully they make improvements to it.

Dear NAFA,

"Is it possible to improve the website to include the previous function of linking the fur in our account to the auction catalog? Cross referencing lotting numbers to the catalog is very cumbersome and simply clicking on the lotting numbers in our account that linked to the catalog was much easier.
Thank you."

I think they are working on it. I’ve double clicked on the lot number and it brought me to the catalog like before but not on all animals. So I hope they work the rest of the bugs out.

Default lynx

Pike, only problem if you do not target your lynx, they will clean out your marten as well as the rabbits, apex preds.
