Default Late spring fishing at spray?

With the lakes closing, but spray being open for ice fishing I was wondering can someone generally ice fish spray late April early may? I want to take a buddy out around then.

Anyone have experience in this?

Tnx

Happy

Can be done but ice may be very dangerous,

With all the warm weather we have had and more coming the ice will start to rot before too long.

Be very careful.

I fished it mid April last year and the ice was still likely good for a few more weeks. This spring seems a bit warmer than last year, so be careful if you do decide to head out and remember to check the ice as you head out.

Cheers,

Tnx all, I think when that time comes I'll ask again....probably won't head out if it's risky....no point.....

I'll fish other spots and be safe

Tnx for the input.

Happy
