Default Me too but not gun parts

Customs is holding my son's airsoft toy parts since Sept 29. It isn't even a part for the gun itself it is a magazine adapter to convert the gun to HPA vs Green Gas.

So stupid these people.

That's despicable! There's no need to hold gun related parts like that. It's a game they're playing to see if some new Liberal BS laws will pass so they can just throw your stuff away. Just like waiting for a PAL. It takes forever and they really don't want to give it to you.
Good Luck.

Yes tried.

"Sorry there is nothing we can do. There is a lot of items to inspect. It will take anywhere from 8-12 weeks before item will be checked and released."

"Can I talk to someone else higher up in the chain? You aren't helping me and do not understand the item you have is nothing related to firearms."

"No nothing can be done this is the process"

Almost go ballistic but just hang up.

It makes no sense.

They held a set of Talley rings for my rifle for months. Finally gave up on them.

Welcome to the new liberal world, we don't think you should have this, it's not safe so we will confiscate it and make all Canadians safe .... no need to thank us it's why we were elected

Most government employees are likely still working from home. I was told that's why passports take forever to process. Not sure why that would be but it's government, go figure.
Border services are probably the same.

I ordered a disc brake from Rock Auto on the 7th August, arrived yesterday. Could just be incompetence.

Pretty safe in betting your sweet bippy that CBSA has a vendor list that must be inspected concerning firearms and parts, and a list of export declarations that need to be inspected if run across.

Well the firing pin IS the most dangerous part of a firearm! It makes the bullet go bang!

So I have a single shot until some time in January, and maybe January of 2025.

Default no rhyme or reason

I ordered some parts for a shotgun from Numrich in September and decided to get an extra firing pin for a revolver to save some shipping. I expected 6 to 8 weeks and had them in 10 days. Now I have been waiting for a spring from a Winchester 94 for more than 2 months. I arrived at Customs on Sept 26th..
