Funny. I too am left handed and remember an incident that makes me think you might be onto something.

A friend picked me up and we drove over an hour to a trout hole and within a few minutes I proceeded to catching trout while my right handed friend struggled. I gave him the exact same fly and let him fish where I was standing and he couldn't hook into a trout. I went back to the spot and caught another 3 trout in 10 minutes. In 30 minutes of fishing I had caught 12 trout total and my friend had only one bite. Righty got mad and piped up ,"Let's go!!!" It was a real quiet ride home. Long drive for 30 minutes of fishing.

Often feel pity when fishing with right handed people.
"Special" needs. There are programs where you can receive assistance...

Funny you mention it. There was a famous study done out of Orillia Ontario that shows fish have better right vision then left and due to the mirror affect water has on light defraction means flies cast from the left have a 71% increased hooking rate.

My left handed buddy is the exact same way. Most people ignore science in fishing stats so great for you to bring up these facts.

Also rivers flow west to east and a lefty walking upstream casting will gravitate to the southern bank which is shaded and has 74% more fish then the sunny north Bank.

Your statements must be true.
You have percentages and everything.
How could anyone doubt what you've said?

Left handed folks should be proud of their heritage.

Very proud indeed.

It is said that the supreme bean made left handed humans first,,, that alone should make them feel good.

I was telling a friend of mine this and he was thrilled knowing this,,, he asked why would the supreme bean make left handed people first.

My reply was that he wanted to start with something simple.

I've never "gravitated" I guess. After FFing for 60+ years, I walk the north bank and righties I'm with the south.

Ya gotta be careful with righties. Some of them are Baptists.

I'll never look at righties the same way ever again and henceforth give them all a sideways glance.

That website is an amazing piece of satire. I'm not sure how much of it is created by the main author and his circle, and how much has just "taken off" via enthusiasts of his creation. 47 pages on that thread alone, which has been going since 2010.

After reading how lefties have been burned at the stake, things haven't changed much.
