Whats is the best method to dispatch an animal I don't use gun because I don't wanna damage the fur.

I assume you mean footholds as bodygrips already dispatch the animal. For cats e.g. lynx or bobcat, a noose around the neck will kill them quickly and humanely. Just put a noose of light rope on a pole and slowly slip it over the cats head. Usually they're out within 30 seconds. for canids most guys dispatch with a 22 shot either between the eyes or into the heart area. This does not damage any fur as long as you clean up the pelt. A shot to head or a blow to the head does cause more work when skinning so I prefer a lung/heart shot. Plus you can keep the skulls.
