Default When to trim ceader bushes

I believe there Brandon’s. When can I trim them? Trying to keep them a little shorter.

I believe the rule of thumb is to never trim in a month that ends in a "y". I think you would be good to go right now.

I researched this a bit last year before I pruned a few of my cedar shrubs. Apparently the best time to prune is while the tree is still dormant but the threat of severe cold has passed. I pruned mine about this time last year and they had very vigorous growth last growing season. I’ll prune mine again in a couple weeks.
