I would lose my mind if I saw a perch like that through one of my holes.

These kids were stoic to say the least haha

A co-worker of mine said he was hitting them all day long at Swan Lake just inside the BC border up around Beaverlodge area.

The big perch never left and are still around. These remnants of perch were from two weeks ago within a 50 mile (80 km.) of downtown Edmonton. Caught a few between 12 and 13 inches. Missed a few too.

Note* nice to see that some 12 inchers were males too.

Those buggers got the length but not much meat on them. They are just skin and bones.

I would have to call stars to come rescue me of a heart attack if i had a limit of damn near 14" laying on the ice.

Then everybody would know it wasnt lake "x"
It was "Y" this whole time

Those are some nice perch. Makes me want to head back to Lake Simcoe, Ont for some true giants.

Here's a 15 inch fish

We had a group of three monsters swim under the hut and nailed two. My buddy holding 15 & 16.5 inch beasts.
