Socal, I live close to the Battle River and fish it quite a bit. If you ever want to get together and trade a few good spots, I'd be up for that! I've caught a pile of walleyes in there, and some nice goldeye, but not very many pike. Thanks......Dean.

Most of my fishing is the Forestburg area. The dam is a great starter. Also the bridge right before Big Knife Park is excellent. River is wide there, but the channel runs down through the middle and is only about 20 ft. wide. Largest jack out of there was 48 1/4 "; largest walleye was 26 3/8 ". Also caught lots of goldeye and suckers.

yeah for sure me and a buddy fish it about 3 times a week once the season starts. I got your e-mail so i'll let you know when we go. caught a 10lb pike last fall from there biggest pike i've got from there.

I live close and fish the Forrestburg dam. Haven't been there for a couple years now though. Always caught at least a hammer handle. Seen walleye caught down at the spillway(never caught one myself). For the most part if you catch it at the right time its a great place to spend a day.

live by it caught tons of walleye and lots of jacks in it my brother caught an 8.5 lber outta there find the holes find the fish fun river lots of suckers to

You are talking about the river south of vermillion about 15 or 20 minutes right?

Default big Knife prov park

hey anybody have any tricks or lures that work on the battle river that they would share with me trying to get some good fishing in this year last year was a joke only went out 2 times, any help would be great. Any ideas on good fishing around stettler would help to, hows kerbes pond? anything would be greatly appreciated. by the way not looking to take over spots or honey holes just looking for some decent fishing. thanks

Chocolate milk. Will be poor till late August from alliance down lots of river and twist and turn like crazy gotta know your holes. Haven't fished this year since June 1st opener. Did alright that day nothing big.
