Up towards the north end I did well with a full sink and big streamers. Best one was 19". I only found small ones along the shore so I went deeper looking for bigger fish and was rewarded.

Clouser on sink line in the hole at the river outlet, or near lillies and docks works good. Or high floating popper or frog or big dragonfly works good with a hard strip.

never fished that lake but if you sneak out at night and throw poppers around the beach and docks you will get into bass. Washington has WAY better bass fishing if you want to take the extra drive.

I usually use wooly buggers, black first, green second, brown third. A small black rabbit strip about 3" long with doll's eyes on hair head works very well also. Also used a big worm hook and a black 4" power bait with a chartreuse tail, Texas rigged, in really thick weed, on my 7wt, pitching it into holes. Not for the faint of heart to use on a fly rod. Even though all the stuff I had, was tied weedless, it wouldn't work in that stuff in 4ft of water, but, that setup did. It was a sac-religious act, got me some 3-4 pounders though.

My two favs are rubber legged buggers and dragonfly nymphs. 6wt with either sink tip or type 2-6 full sink depending on depth. Weeds, rockpiles, sunken logs... I never had much luck with docks.

Never tried Christina Lake, this was Southern Ontario.
