Default Going out tomorrow

Headed out to try and learn to fly fish. First time for me. Going with Sean. Any advice. Need to try something new

I don't know what's near you, but I would strongly suggest trying to find a location that is nice and sheltered from the wind and also has nice clear banks without a lot of tall grasses and shrubs. It will make your first time much less frustrating!

Hey dal ya going in your pontoon. ? It's hard to learn when ya got trees not stuff behind ya do yourself a favor I strongly suggest looking up Pete kutzer orvis guide to fly fishing videos and watch email that is what I learned the most from this guy is an amazing teacher and makes it easy use a nine ft tapered leader with two or three feet of tippet no more and watch your timing on the backcast go to chickakoo lake or a small pond like that small black leach has been working good lately good luck buddy

Went out to Sauer on the pontoon. i dont think i did to bad. Only got tagled twice. Tried out a mosquito, a small damsel, and a back swimmer.

long road ahead of me lol
