Default fishing in Texas, Dallas-FW area

Anyone with experience fly fishing down in Texas? Looking for some ideas...Maybe trout won't be the first option to go for it....but any tip, highly appreciated.

Any lake down there will have fish. Try for some panfish, heck why not try for some bass on the old fly rod while your there. Trout down there are considered feeder fish in lakes for bass you could possibly catch some decent rainbows as well. Poppers and streamers are par for the course.

really?? decent rainbows...that's good. I was reading about trout down there and looks like texas wildlife office stock trout during their "winter" months. Fly rod is packed....will visit some fly shop looking for advise too
