Default It's Home

A few weeks ago I wandered into wss and browsed the used gun counter and there she was, a Sako finnbear in 25-06. Had the boys put it away in back until I could convince the wife that I must have it. Well I brought it home yesterday, thanks honey. Will go try her out next weekend with some factory stuff, then work up hand loads. Gonna try 110 accubonds. Any powder recommendations?

I use IMR 4350 for my 2506. IMR 4831 should work well too.

I'm trying out 110 grain accubonds and IMR 4350 because I use it in the .30-06.

If I didn't have 4350, I would first be trying 4831SC

Looked in the powder mag, have imr4350,4831,7828,4064,hodgdon 4831sc 870,reloader 19,22 and winchester 760. Something outta work, just wish I had the time or a place close to home for test firing, still have 338wm,300 weatherby loads to test from a year ago.

I have a Finnbear in the 270 cal. and it is a tack driver. You can load hot bullets and the rifle will take it. Congrats on a fine product!!

Well , city livin isn't conducive to precision shooting. Spent 2 days monkeyin with this gun, used the truck hood for a platform during crappy weather. My shooting form isn't what it used to be. But when I pointed this gun in the right direction when it went bang it put the bullet where it was supposed to. Need to build a bench and find a place to shoot. Then try for some groups.
