The funny (or sad) part is, illegal immigration hit a high point in 2000, almost 20 years ago, and has been declining ever since then. The wall is a distraction, unnecessary, and a huge waste of money. But like anything else, if you want a distraction (like maybe an investigation), cause a controversy elsewhere. Yeah, I know, he ran on the wall but:
  • Mexico was going to pay for it
  • The GOP had all three levels of government controlled for 2 years, and now it's an emergency and crisis?

Building a wall outside of heavily traveled areas is a waste of time and money imho. I understand wanting to curb immigration and stop the flow of drugs but such a long border is likely a losing proposal to 100% cut it off. Stopping crossing in a shorter well patrolled area can work (see Israel) but j less they plan on spending billions in patrols I’m guessing it wouldn’t work.

So? then we should not have fences in our back yards or lock our doors?

Or even better we can elect a failed drama teacher and invite everyone in and pretend it is a good idea while they walk out with all our furniture.....

Got a prove? I couldn’t find any information that supports your claim.

Don't have access to Google?

Do you have any proof a wall will solve the problem? Assuming there even is a problem outside of paranoid bs on the part of you know who to keep his support base. Wasnt the original promise that Mexico would build it? Oops.

You might find this an interesting read. Sometimes it's best to be careful of what you wish for.

It would be fun buying a $10 head of lettuce or orange tho.

Stopping the flow of drugs into the country is just a mirage thrown up by the dumb to appeal to the dumber. It will have some effect on illegal crossovers. Zero on the drug side.

I am not here to discuss with you American politics, you are getting confused! I’m not here to discuss if Trump is good or bad, right or wrong. We are talking about the wall. Just the wall. Since the wall was build in SAN Diego area, the illigal crossings went down by 90%. That is a fact. The wall will help in regulating the flow of migrants, it is way easier to control the trickle than a river. Too bad you don’t see it.
