Wow:
We've had a maple rifle stock put up, that will be fitted to the final out come of the Jury barrel prize.

We also now have corn on the cob offered up for dinner too.

Wow, simply wow!

Seeing that I must maintain my Adonis like body (puke) I gotta hook up with you and get some of that salad. Just look for a short arsed Belgian with attitude. I am so stoked about this event, I'm counting the sleeps. This is going to be most memorable. Speaking of memories, I have a nice Nikkon digital SLR that I would like to place in the hands of a capable photo shooter to keep track of it all. I mean the whole thing, get some nice action pics on the firing line and the party goings on before and after.

Sure looks as though no one will go hungry, and such a diversity to satisfy anyone's palate. I just received an email indicating that Sierra Bullets also wishes to stand up to the plate with prizes. Hopefully the postal service and customs won't delay delivery on such short notice.

And if I may make a suggestion. Let's not forget the ladies who give of their time and effort to cook etc. yet don't shoot. Perhaps a gift certificate. Ladies aren't that likely to be so stoked about a box of bullets or a rifle barrel as the guys are.

I just got off the phone with the Club's secretary.
Her take on the guest provision, is that I require the names of all the non member shooters attending the shoot, ahead of time. This is how she reads the NFA insurance issue (and no I don't care if it could be slightly wrong)

So if all you non members who are attending could, pm, or email me the name, and names of those attending I'd appreciate it.

I know it's been a while but you should remember Hot Paws and my name. This insurance thing for the club is driving my wife insane. A real pain trying to ensure people are covered.

I just received confirmation from Fed-Ex that two parcels weighing 66 lbs had been shipped by the green machine (Sierra Bullets). This is going to be spectacular, one of the best to be sure.

Stand in line buddy. Incredible prizes to be won for sure. Not to mention the chef like food and superb camaraderie as FAF earlier alluded to. Long lasting friendships to be made are in the makes. Love it.

For those heading out, the whole area is under construction. When you take the detour where the old hwy 39 ends, follow a few hundred metres to a huge white fabric shop. Turn south (RR 71). You will cross what was the old hwy 39 and then look for the evergreen shooting club sign.

Good call.

If you are coming in from the south country, or from Edmonton via 39,
its easier to just go south of the 22 and 39 intersection, on 22 about 3.5 miles, and take TWP RD 484 west to RR 71.

I think there are some pretty serious shooters for sure. They are lining up for the fancy new barrel. I think the only line I will be in is for the feast after the shooting is done. I am not going because of any prizes, I just want to go hang out with some great outdoorsmen, have a day of shooting with my son and hope we can learn a thing or 2. I have only ever met one of the other shooters but cant wait to meet the rest. I am little embarssed to say it but this event is probably going to be the highlight of my summer, I am glad I got in early, it sure filled up quick.

This whole event is put on to have FUN. Most of the time it's a real eye opener just as the postal match is. The best part is that everyone attending are just friends you haven't met yet and if you're lucky they are shooting just as bad as you are. I can smell the powder burning already.

you may win the barrel and chambering and stock!.im sure dick will set it up like always and draw names for prizes.this one may require a round robin style of draw as it is so big on its own but im sure our main man will figure a way to do it!good luck!

FAF, you would never pick out the pros in this group. All very humble guys. Last years barrel was won in a draw with everyone being eligible. Was won by a pro,(pro cheesecake eater that is). Hopefully the format stays the same.

There are several different events to compete in and win in.....good format that anyone can win.....heck I even won a class last year!

You will see that everyone is out to have fun and a few laughs it isn't too serious and I am pretty sure everyone has a great time I know I did.

There were quite a few door prizes last year also. So I am sure that Dick would gladly accept any that folks would like to donate.

Looking forward to the event....lots of fresh faces this year.
