Default Calgary gun show. Who puts it on?

Anyone know who puts on the Calgary Gun show?
I hear it will be at the Tsuu Tina Nation sports plex this year but don't know anything else about it.
Just wondering if someone knows the organizers.

Google it and it will come up with a phone number. Would be nice to get it out of downtown Calgary.

Would,be nice to be able to buy a gun and carry it home in the c-train as is our right as Canadians. I wonder how the city can decide that we can’t carry firearms on the train

^ Lol. I walked some distance to the hotel downtown-ish Edmonton around 4PM on a weekday once carrying a 12ga Winchester SX3 in a sock, lol. Lots of people looked, but no one asked. No one asked at the hotel either, including a couple in the elevator that definitely looked super “curious”, but also uncomfortable.

Looks like the show will happen Easter long weekend. The usual Friday and Saturday. According to one of the organizers, it will be held at the Tsuutina. Lots of free parking!

If you are already in Calgary, it's at the west end of Anderson Road SW, to Buffalo Run Blvd, To Chiila Blvd. to Bullhead Road.
If you are coming from the east, take Stoney Trail around the south of the city to Buffalo Run Blvd, To Chiila Blvd. to Bullhead Road.
FYI Stoney Trail isn't completed between COP and Hwy 8/Glenmore Trail.

Can you access it from Bragg Creek, going through the reserve ?

Unless you have a valid visitors permit to travel through the Tsuu T'ina Nation, it's probably best to stick with the main road.
If you have a visitors permit, the Priddis Valley Road from Hwy 22 links to Bullhead Road.
Otherwise, either go east on Hwy 22 to north on Stoney Trail. Or, go north on Hwy 22 to east on Hwy 8 to south on Stoney Trail.

Thorncliff was only moderate busy in morning and pretty slow later in day. Free parking may help but there are still lots of people adverse to crowds who will stay away
I hope it is super busy but am guarded optimistic about it being a return to the numbers we saw 4 or 5 years ago

That does it for me!
Same as I skipped Thorncliff and Lethbridge.
Maybe another week or so and we wont have to worry about them

When I looked it up, it shows for mandatory QR codes. I dont need any tracking system to get me into a gunshow. I can see that eventually ending up reallly bad.
Brooks never missed a season for gunshows, and always just did alternate security forms like masks, and spreading out the tables a bit between vendors. I'll take masks over the governments tracking when it comes to my attendance at a gunshow.

Recall the private security company reviewed vac cert but don't recall any electronic scan although there could have been. Mrs was delayed coming in as she couldn't find her driver's license. Guess scan or manual review will depend who tsuu Tina hires for security. Most restaurants require scan so I guess we are used to it also Mrs qr would not scan last month so waitress said seeing was enough

Ad shows 440 tables, so I guess that’s going to be just over half what the Easter show at the RoundUp center could fit, as I recall reading that having over 800 tables in previous years. Nice to see it back for sure though, and if parking is free that’s certainly a plus. It might add 2-3 km to my drive there, but that’s ring-road distance rather than driving through the Beltline so it will probably be faster anyways

No offence to the quality knife makers but Id rather see 400 tables of GUNshow stuff than cheap asian made knifes and basement flea market junk that should have been thrown out years ago. You know I'm right..you see the same crap out there show after show. Thats my rant

Can’t argue with you there. That and the table with the Nazi figurines. Grown men who play with dolls and dress a certain way with certain haircuts, Uber creepy. Actual military historical stuff passes the sniff test as being OK if you ask me, but making that stuff? Sets off certain alarms for me, not sure about everyone else.

I wasn't going to bring up that, but ya, they're there at every show in town.
