I shoot in my back yard. By-law office says it is legal. As long as your arrow doesn't leave your property.

Where the heck do you live? You sure can't do that in Sherwood Park or Edmonton. It's a weapon!

Developers around here have big fields of land on the edge of town. Never had an issue with bylaw shooting there. I just make sure I shoot against a big dirt pile, just in case. Heck, the bylaw guys here even bowhunt too.
