Default Yeah PETA, Your Doing It Right.

Well it's official. PETA Wants to save Pokemon/ execute humans, and don't even ask about Super Mario
Animal rights group PETA has launched what could be seen as a scathing attack against Pokemon Black & White 2 which launched in North America on Sunday. The animal rights group released a*Pokemon Black & White 2 spoof game to explain to consumers how they feel about the series.*The group also provided the following statement regarding the popular franchise.

“Much like animals in the real world, Pokémon are treated as unfeeling objects and used for such things as human entertainment and as subjects in experiments. The way that Pokémon are stuffed into pokéballs is similar to how circuses chain elephants inside railroad cars and let them out only to perform confusing and often painful tricks that were taught using sharp steel-tipped bullhooks and electric shock prods …if PETA existed in Unova, our motto would be: Pokémon are not ours to use or abuse. They exist for their own reasons. We believe that this is the message that should be sent to children.”

As for super Mario:

While Nintendo and most of the nation may be swept away by the adorable Tanooki mania, count animal rights group PETA as among those not so enchanted. With their new campaign “Mario Kills Tanooki”, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals claims:

“Tanooki may be just a ‘suit’ in Mario games, but in real life, tanuki are raccoon dogs who are skinned alive for their fur. By wearing Tanooki, Mario is sending the message that it’s OK to wear fur.”

Visitors to their website can get in on this disturbing interpretation of activism by playing a flash game of a bloodied Tanooki retrieving his fur from Mario.

What an unreasonable but entirely predictable turn of events. PETA loves to do this right around the holidays (see: Cooking Mama). It’s a pretty good PR move, really: get the most innocuous and well beloved target you can find and attack without valid provocation. If you’re not concerned with constant alienating your target audience, it works exactly as planned.

Tell you what, I much prefer ole Mario in a single Tanooki suit to PETA’s hypocrisy, funding and support of domestic terrorism, and rampant disrespect for human life. Don’t you?

Nintendo is suing PETA for super Mario,
And are in talk of filing a lawsuit for Copyright infringement for the Pokemon,
Nintendo usually dosent sue people for you their characters, but PETA hit their soft spot.
Keep Up The Good Work.

Is this for real?

Pokemon are not even real, and they were made for entertainment. They don't nor can't feel. People have to much time on their hands

Yep it's for real, their Pokemon game was sickening, Pokemon trying to get away and killing humans in the process. Yes PETA. These are the games our kids should be playing, what was Nintendo thinking?

Yes PETA is, well, pick a term. But maybe, they are so over board that even the antis think they are nuts and in fact feel that PETA is detrimental to their cause. Really though, what can be said or discussed about PETA? Where do you even begin? There really is no term to describe them. Another thing I heard a while back was that there is some group in the U.S. that thinks that babies born with sever handicaps should be put down. How do you even begin to describe a line of thinking like that?

Yeah...the dichotomy of being a meat eater.
Everyone wants a PETA protesters but nobody wants a PETA protest.
A bunch of them would be even better... but also so much worse...

Life is cruel somtimes....

If they want to get rid of all the people on the planet, that would be a good start.
They can prove their sincerity by being willing to "go" first.

PETA are jerks. My sister is a bit of a fashionista, she recently bought a really old nice mink stole, not sure how old but circa 1920's and was quite pricey. She wore it to work and was going to lunch and outside the Starbucks a hippie girl threatened to pour hot coffee on her about it, she calmly explained her stance on fur and it was in fact quite the artifact. The PETA jerk went to pour the coffee. My sister being a country girl proceeded to punch the hippie in the yap. Golf clap.

Would have loved to see the look on the hippie's face after that one.

My sister a bit of a firecracker lol. She works for bombardier international and has worked all over the world. Another good story involving a dispute with a 12 year old Muslim cleric in Indonesia.
