Default Elk Ivory

I just got these two elk ivory, from my 2010 bull, inlaid in silver.

The first one I got put on to a knife sheath for my brothers birthday present.

The second one is currently hooked on the end of a pocket watch chain about 4 inches long so that it just hangs out of my pocket but I can also run the chain through the loop as shown in the picture if I so desire.

Thank you to Elliot Mereski of The Goldworks in Lethbridge for helping me to come up with these and to going to the extra work of getting the one attached to the knife sheath for me.

I am also interested to see what everybody else has done with their ivory. Please include pictures

The Goldworks in Lethbridge did all of the work.

I found quite a few silversmiths in Great Falls that would do the work but then I found this design on a piece that they (The Goldworks) had already done and he (Elliot) was willing to change it up to fit the pendant on the sheath for me. If you check out their website they have a few other designs with ivory in both silver and gold.

I also thought that getting either a silver elk on a gold background or vice versa would have looked neat but when he started quoting prices I realized that silver on silver really looks good too.

Mind if I ask what they cost you?
