What is the water quality right now? I'm tired of trying to fish fast moving mud.

Lots of 6-8" Browns near where it flows into the Bow, at Hull's Wood.

If fish creek is muddy, is the main stem of the bow off color?

I have been fishing Fish Creek these past few days upstream from the Indian Reserve.
Caught a rainbow last night which was 4 inches at best.

Today I hooked into some small 6 Inch Brook Trout. I lost a large fish that was probably closer to 10 Inches.

Is there any convenient access points to this creek further upstream from the Priddis area?

you can try it right in Priddis. It also crossed coalmine road lots, but you might want permission from landowners even if you're just hiking up the creek.

Tried the section of Fish Creek in the actual park (near the evergreen area) yesterday. There were "Bear in the Area" signs at the park entrance.

Then the Creek bed I was fishing in had Bear Paw prints all over the place.

I caught 4 Minnows on my fly rod.

Felt some bigger tugs a few times so wondering if it was a Rainbow.

You actaully caught some minnows? How big were the minnows? Must be a small fly haha. Yikes about the bear!

I've only fished fish creek in the park. Lots of little rainbows (hard to hook!) and some browns. It's a decent creek. A lot of sections impounded by beaver dams so you just have to walk to find good pools.
