Koskinen kept em in it and the defensive game a group limited the quality chances against. Opposed to the last 3 games that were a defensive nightmare.

Yup a good win. The Big K kept them in it. Much better defensively. Still need to learn how not to panic in the final few minutes when the pressure is raining down on them. Bend but don’t break!

Bring on St Louis!

I refrained from posting during the game. Hockey superstitions. Will only post when the game is over. But will read throughout the game. Left sock then right sock hold my drink in the right hand. Golden retriever on the left bulldog on the right.....

Great win. I think St. Louis will be tougher because of the pressure their d can apply to McDavid and Draisaitl. Another good thing about the win tonight is we will get another look at tonight's line combinations. I think they looked fairly good tonight. And what a great bounce back game by Bear.

Good to see a win. Those last few minutes were crazy. When the other team pulls their goalie the oilers need to get Leon off the ice. Great player but he is awful defending in our end. He can barely move. Get a fast skater who can check someone. We got lucky

I know what you mean about Draisaitl. On the other hand, he's the Oiler's best face-off guy. Did not watch the game only listened to it. Jack Michaels is awesome! Looking at some highlights and interviews this morning, Koskinen looked exhausted. I can't be the only one thinking that Corey Perry was gonna score right at the end there.

You gotta like the big Finns play in the net this year. I gotta think he can still get better yet which is promising. NHL season is long and tiresome with the travel. He’s showing he is more than capable of adjusting to the NHL and working out the kinks in his game. Would like to see him finish out the games till Christmas see if he can get on a roll. Still think smith has gotta start another 15 games this season min to keep the Finn from being exhausted. A good rest for Smith will do him a pile of good too. Really thinking Smith has some sort of leg injury going on. Flexing that leg a pile after whistles.

Pitt should be a good game to. Oilers seem to play better against good clubs and s@&” the bed against clubs in the basement. Been like that for years. They don’t seem to respect those opponents enough.

You need to lose the Boston Avatar. It's not good for the Oilers Juju!

Yeah I was very concerned as both McDavid and Draisaitl were on for the 1st goal and then Tippett put them back out again in last minute or so!
These two have been lazy in our end for the last few games and should not be on the ice in these situations!
Koskinen won this game for us for sure.

Low percentage, cross ice passes........They have to come up with a new play besides that. I don’t know how many times they tried it but I’m pretty sure that they weren’t successful with any of them. Maybe shoot the puck and pounce on the rebound is an idea.

Jake Allen had a great game as well. Only goal we got was when he was 10 feet out of the net. Larsson looked really good tonight and to be honest I am not a big Larsson fan. 1 for 2 on this this road trip is ok. On to the the Penquins.

Got traded for 3 goals, a roll of sock tape, and a shooter tutor.

A big X2 on this.

If there's ZERO threat of a shot, you can sit on that pass all day. The PP is way more effective when Connor shoots the puck.

The greasy mad scramble in the crease goals count the same as the pretty three touch goals...
