If I have to buy factory I like federal trophy bonded tip.
I've seen it shoot well in 3 different guns in different calibers.
Haven't used it in .300 win mag though

Load up when you find some XP3's, if not WS Accubonds !! I reload my 300WM with 180gr AB's since 2005 but have a few hunting buddies that shoot the factory WS AB's.

Federal trophy copper or Barnes vortx ttsx. Both have shot well in my rifles. Preference to the Barnes, seems most consistent lot to lot.

I am one who thinks there is no ammo made that works better or best for everyone. For every brand, some swear by them and some swear at them and some just can not tell the difference. If you want something that shoots well in your own rifle, there is nothing better than trial and your own experience and no short cuts.

x2.
I've had great accuracy and performance on game with the Federal TBT bullets.. they're my favourite factory loaded bonded bullet. I like mono's like the Federal Trophy Copper or Barnes TSX/TTSX the best (especially in the magnums). Next would be Accubonds. If you're pinching pennies then the Federal Fusion's on the low end aren't too bad. The ol nosler partitions are never a bad choice either. With the availability and abundance of different bonded bullets nowadays, its hard to go wrong.

If you're in a pinch before hunting season and need to ride out the season with one choice - I agree, use an Accubond based cartridge and then do some testing after the season with a few comparables.

I believe that Winchester CT Supreme is topped with Nosler accubonds.

If you're looking for a lower cost box to try I recommend hornandy American whitetail.

What are you shooting at? That's the most important thing to consider when picking a bullet.

Agree buy a few boxes. I recently found federal premium flies really well and switched from the hornady I was using. Hope it smacks em as hard as the hornady does.

My 300 WM
Likes the Nosler factory stuff with the 180 Accubond bullet. Acceptable hunting accuracy.
