Default HVAC Question

I'm installing a AC unit
Is it better to bend 1 piece of pipe or can I solder 90s and use straight pipe to make it look better and make it easier?

Thanks

You will want to use ac pipe and fittings and weld the connections.

Get a Refrigerant Line Set. You should be able to get one at Sinclair Supply in Red Deer.

Either is fine, but I'd recommend using a lineset as indicated above. Your supplier will be able to size it for you, based on length and number of elbows used. Another advantage to the lineset is that it will come pre-insulated. Take care making your bends, takes surprisingly little to kink a line. And also noted, you can't simply solder and A/C line. Had to be a brazed joint, using silfos. So you'll need a torch capable of getting the copper to the 1500 degree range. Also be sure to protect your service valves and TXV or oriface.

Or, might be a good idea to hire a proffesional. . . Just sayin
