The Mastif lab cross presently laying on my floor would seriously disagree with you .... he does get walked though.

No vet. F 150 and Intruder 1400 are what I drive.

And a 94 ranger once a week to the dump.

Your bad a## family cat isn't making up for being a cat person. Man card in danger.

What's everyone's opinion regarding drivers who have a dog on their lap and/or hanging out the driver window as they're out and about in traffic?? Personally, I've always wanted to see what happens when the airbag goes off as a kind of Darwinian thing.

Rottweillers, Pitbulls, and Dobermans are just small genitals compensation too so don't get one of those unless you have issues in the testosterone department or drive a corvette.

Anyways, dogs are fine. If they never bark, crap, or live within hearing distance of ME.

Cats are better for no other reasons than they have attitude and can survive for a week on a giant bowl of food and water while you're on holidays. Stupid dog will eat and drink both in the first hour then whine about when you're coming home. Probably expire in the process.

What's Calgary up to now? 7.1 dogs per resident? Last I checked it was the highest in Canada. Right along with the per cap density of Jeep Cherokees that never leave the road and cowboy gear that gets worn once a year. Pfftttt.

Shhhh. You might not hear your dog whining for.....something. Probably to go outside, drop a football sized turd, and dig your yard up.

A cat will just get it himself if he's ignored. And he'll do it with attitude and hate you for days for being negligent. I can appreciate that.

Crapping in the same place for life is just a bonus.

Let a cat go free in the country and he'll go feral while slaughtering the forest denizens. Let a dog go free in the forest and he'll cry and get eaten by coyotes. The cat will most likely be up a nearby tree laughing during the proceedings.

To all the dog haters, here's a test you can try. Lock your dog and wife in the trunk of a car for an hour. Then let them out. Which one is going to be the happiest to see you?

My golden is always excited and happy to see me when I get home. She is amazing as a pet a companion and a confidant. People with dogs in their lives are usually happier then those that don't!

That has been proved in many studies...people with pets are calmer and happier.

My dogs have free run of my property and the one dog hasn't found a cat tough enough. Got one in crematorium right now as I type this that thought it was tough. It thought wrong though.

How so? Yellow spots means my lawnmower doesn't use as much gas or have to work hard. Should mean more disposable income.

I have two working dogs that I love, yet my two cats are indispensable when it comes to pest control around my acreage. One of them even killed a short tailed weasel a couple of month ago! I have pictures of the dead critter if anyone needs validation.
Besides, only short, bold and impotent men have "man cards"

I have no trouble believing you. Had a cat that would kill gophers until a fox got him.
