Default Random back country camping rules?

So I am looking to go camping quite remotely. My understanding is that any of the wildland parks are the beatbox places to do this. However I'm a little confused about it all. I want no one around me for miles, able to Kayak, chop trees for a fire and just in general have a peaceful relaxing camping trip. Aren't the wildland park the best place to find a little area to set up shop for a few days?
Thanks in advance!

Unless you're going to pack your Kayak on your back for miles, you won't be miles away from others. Actually, The Bighorn Backcountry has the same types of opportunities but it's not a Wildland Park.
