Thanks! The first time that you posted I checked my yotes and I was absolutely shocked with such horrible grades. Before I had the chance to print them out they disappeared. Now that they are back up again, all the grades have changed for the better and I'm a happy (relieved) Trapper now.

My coyotes graded slightly better than I thought they would, and beaver were slightly worse which I'll take anyday. Coons graded good, Fishers really good, rats were normal and my skunks are a no show damn it.

Congrats on some really great grades, rbsask!

I’m really happy with my coyote grades.....much better than what I had expected.

I made a mistake with my beaver pelts though. I missed the last receiving date last Spring so I rolled the finish pelts and stored them in the freezer. The creases in the hide from rolling them was enough to get them a SLT grade instead of being labelled. I did manage one top lot somehow though. Not an expensive mistake but still......

For awhile there they had coyotes listed to sell next week, but I see now that are changed back to tomorrow like they had been originally scheduled. That warehouse must be a busy place.

I find NAFA well organized when you realize they are processing, lotting and auctioning 5 million pelts in 6 days from 10 provinces,NWT/Yukon and large number of US states.

Bill,

The small and med are always female. Large are males.

There is a SSL lot of LBR's, it will likely get top lot. Fisher is a funny animal though, it all depends what color the guys fro Greece want. I have gotten top lots for LBR, PL, and XP. The MED fisher and LGE Fishers will likely be Top Lots for their sizes.

What’d I miss?

Eleven of my 13 beaver sold for a $15 average and my two red fox were bought back. Oh, castor sold today for a $4 average. Exciting stuff!

I made just as much off my castors as i did on my Beaver pelts.. it's a crime what they sell for now days. They really need to find a new market for short hair.

No, that was an average. I had 6 CLN, 13 ORD and 4 SHL. I put everything in including the empty castor from the smaller beaver. I have plenty of SHL to make lure with so I have no use for it.
Marty......23 x US$4......BIG bucks, friggin HUGE!!!!
I tan anything smaller than a large pelt so the pelt to castor amount won't add up.
