Default High quality gun smith

Posting this asking for opinions, suggestions of a recommended quality
gun smith who might be able to bring my old side by side 12 guage back
to life.

It requires 2 newly made repoduction spring steel firing pin leaf springs.
It also may need 2 newly made reduction hammer locks for the leafs to
cock and seat into.

The shotgun I have is a 12 guage double barrel side by side Aurista Crate.
Problubly made between 1922 to 1964 company was bought or went out
of buss. long ago.

Traided my 1990 mossberg side by side for this gun years ago.
Stock at the pistol grip was splintered and wrapped with duct tape at the
time.

This gun was half the weight and shouldered like it belonged there.

Killed many pheasant and grouse over the years with it, finely I made
a new hand carvred walnut stock one year (took 3 months to get it done)
but only got another 4 years before the leafs got weak, miss fires every
3rd shot.

Retired the gun about 7 or 8 years ago, too many miss fires dented primers.

Unsafe.

Would love to bring this wonderful shotgun back to life.

Any help would be app.

This gun is an internal hammer to the firing pin, not an older
external hammer or even a twist steel barrel, it's not that old.

After I made the new stock (1994), the next summer I stopped by
a machine shop I used to work at and asked to have them make
a new set of firing pins for my gun.

1 pin was broken the other was bent slightly.

They made me 2 new pins to match to the originals out of Monel stock
and I did replace the firing pins they worked fine.

I did not replace any other of the orig. parts.

I got away with it for about another 3-4 years.

Leaf springs got weak, found another pair used they were worse
than the one's I had.

Red face 1 company

Morning,
Have you looked at/ heard of Turnbull Restorations?
Link : https://www.turnbullrestoration.com/...tion-services/

I’ve read about them for years, and everything I’ve seen has been impressing and positive. Getting a quote will give you an idea of cost , at least.
Hope this helps,
Ken

I'd ask your question on Doublegun, probably get some good directions there.
