Tiger Trout have really large teeth.
I take blood thinners so… I leak readily.
I found this works great for hook removal.

Thankfully Tiger Trout aren’t equipped like this guy.

Bare hands for this guy still. Tigers do have pretty good teeth but I haven't been actually cut. More chewed up skin than anything.

Caught a number about 20”. They have BIG TEETH.
Can’t wait till they get the size I caught in Manitoba. 6>8 lbs.
Did one an honest to God 21” this year.

I think they have arrived
My bests over the last 2 years are 3 at 24 and a true monster at 26.

It took a very long time,for AB.Fisheries to listen.Many guys came back from trips to MB..With stories,backed up with documented proof.Showing Fisheries what AB fisher's ,should be made available to them.Yes there rules are different,but there success.Is proof.C&R of there Tiger trout fisheries,has thousands of out of province fishers travelling there.My pb Tiger is a 30" fish.
My wish is that more of our AB. lakes .Go to C&R.Small towns[ MB.Roblin] & others thrive on the economical,input from there reg's..Why can't our towns/municipalities like Cardston,Medicine Hat,Caroline,Barrhead experince the added diversity gasoline sales ,lodging etc.People like to catch large fish.Keeping them is Old school IMO

For almost as long as I can remember the AB Fisheries/ bugologists have not listened or refused to see where other provinces have succeeded..
.....Cuz they know better...and look at the state of all too many of our lakes today...As the song goes...."When will they ever learn"..

Has anyone caught any in blood Indian reservoir? When I went out there this summer didn’t catch any nor did I see anyone catch any. I was hoping they were chowing down on the Prussian carp in there and getting fat and sassy but no luck.

I'm not so sure. For YEARS, I was complaining directly to SRD about the overstocking of trout in Chain Lakes by Athabasca. They used to put 50k-60k trout in there every year and it seems the biggest you could hope for was 15". Since 2016 they've stocked ~5000 trout in there ever year, and BOOM. now you can catch +20" trout in the lake.

Phylis lake west of Caroline would be a great place to throw tiger trout with a minimum size limit, lots of suckers and perch. Right now they just throw in rainbows and those poor fish have to compete for every morsel of food because the lake is overrun with small fish. They seem skinny whenever I’ve caught them in the past, do t go there anymore because unless you catch a brood trout you’re in tough to catch a trout that grows
