Northern Lights Flytyers – Trout Unlimited Edmonton is continuing its tradition of sponsoring a mid-winter flyfishing seminar to help lessen the winter blues and provide invaluable information for a successful season of stream and lake flyfishing.
The 2014 seminar features:
Todd Oishi , Canadian champion flyfisher, innovative fly tyer, and expert on what trout see, and
April Vokey, flyfishing author, guide, casting and flytying instructor

When: Saturday January 18th, 9:00 am to 5pm and Sunday January 19th, 9:00am to 4pm

Each presenter will alternate sessions with April focusing on swinging flies for steelhead, fly tying materials and improving your casting, and Todd on advanced stillwater strategies, bank fishing, and European nymphing techniques. Both will offer tying demonstrations of flies that they have found most effective for trout and steelhead.
In addition there will be a bucket raffle, door prizes and draws for a Winston Boron LS 3wt rod and a day trip flyfishing with stillwater expert, TV personality, author and tyer Phil Rowley.
