Default New to Spey Fishing

I just bought a spey blank to build and am going to need a reel, line and lessons in the spring.
Any recommendation on some of these items.

Rio has good line recommendation table for darn near every rod ever made. If you don't want to use rio lines you can look at the weight of the recommended rio lines and compare to the brand you are interested in.

Lots of reel options out there. Personal preference.

Brian Niska is a great instructor. He presented at the fly fishing conclave (or whatever they called it) in Lethbridge for a couple years. He does individual lessons as well - highly recommended! Worth every cent... or nickel?

I have taken a single handed lesson from Brian before and he completely rocked my casting ablility. If he is in town this year I am going to get one for sure.
