I've hunted goats with Tom Vince of Turn Again Adventures. I've also hunted with Kawdy Outfitters in B.C. and Nahanni Butte in the N.W.T. but not for goats. You're probably looking at around $9000 plus for a hunt now days. It was he hardest hunt I've ever been on and highly recommend doing it.

If Tom runs his outfit like Garry did, you will get a great animal.

I guided for Garry Vince for years, looks like son followed in Dads footsteps.

I talked to an outfitter from BC yesterday and he said they just got the bad news from the government on the tag number review. Every 5 years the BC gov does a tag and animal number review and then gives the outfitters there tags for the next 5 years. Well this year they told them all the tag numbers will be cut in HALF and some tags even more!!! His neighbouring outfitter had 60 goat tags for 5 years (use 12 a year) cut down to 26 tags for 5 years! There is going to be some major changes for hunting in BC for the next 5 years. The outfitters want to try and increase the tag prices to offset loosing so many tags but then there scared everyone will just go somewhere else to hunt. Just wanted to give you a heads up of what was goin on in BC. Sounds like there is gonna be less hunts but more expensive!

I heard a little differnt senerio from a BC Guide ; & it sounded like what ever tags that were not filled would be taken away : So if you had 10 tags & only 7 hunters harvested then the next year that out fitter would have 7 tags & the BC gov would take the 3 tags away

Try 5 stone safaris, Craig Kiselbach, great area for big goats and a hell of an outfitter.
